It's not just this project for me; books feature in my general photography and self-portraiture with some regularity. Books, my favorite props – in photos and life.
Some photos I took today, featuring the book I'm currently reading: Dressing Up for the Carnival, by Carol Shields (and a lot of others in that stack, which almost tumbled down by the way). Hope you like these.

I really liked the first picture! Also wondering what are the titles of these books. I recognize Her Fearful Symmetry and Harry Potter 5.
Karin Elizabeth, I finished reading yesterday Memoirs of a Gueisha and coulnd't help thinking about you & your blog. Wonder if you've read it? If you haven't, it's a must read. I believe it fits your tastes like a glove. The book screams Karin Elizabeth!
Cheers from Chile!
PS, read Her Fearful Symmetry, after reading your e-mail. Really liked it! Though I have to agree with you about the weirdness of the novel. Also the ending and some actions the characters made in the last 100 pages were quite strange, huh? =) But enjoyable, nonetheless!
Looking forward to your review!
Adam.
