Decided to try out bol.com's secondhand English books service.. I didn't expect to find much for a good price, but was pleasantly surprised when I ended up finding two books that I've really been looking forward to reading (for a good price):
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Millennium Trilogy #1
by Stieg Larsson
I've head so many good things about this book and the trilogy in general. It will be one of the books I'll be reading and reviewing next. (The books aren't arriving yet for another 2-8 days.) I'm extremely curious about this..!
We Need to Talk about Kevin
by Lionel Shriver
This seems like a fascinating and emotional read: a profile of sorts about a mother trying to cope with the fact that her son has shot several people in a high school shooting. I majored in psychology in University, and one thing that always interested me was the criminal aspect to it – how one is triggered to commit crimes.. but also how people around them deal with it.
Douglas Coupland's Hey Nostradamus! is also an excellent book about coping after a high school shooting.

I'm glad that you're going to review The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo! I really can't wait to see what you think about it
I'm currently reading book #2 The Girl Who Played With Fire
PS: I was wondering if you have ever read or heard anything about the In Death series by J.D. Robb… I came across these books for such a long time and then I read somewhere that the series featured almost 30 books (!). I decided to give it a try and finished book #1 Naked In Death yesterday and I really really liked it!
Cheers!

@Heart
it's challenging to write reviews for series without having individual reviews repeat themselves..
Looking forward to Dragon Tattoo. Hasn't arrived in the post yet; We Need to Talk About Kevin arrived today.
Thanks for the tip but ohhh my… if I ever start a series consisting of at least 30 books, that's going to be tough to review
